Juan Chavez | Civil Rights Project | Director and Attorney
Juan has practiced law in Oregon since 2013, focusing on ending mass incarceration and advancing police and prison accountability. He is presently the Director of our Civil Rights Project. The Civil Rights Project has filed lawsuits against the Oregon Department of Corrections addressing a wide range of issues, including false disciplinary charges, interference with legal mail, medical malpractice, excessive force, wrongful death cases, and damages class actions.
